Moonlight painting

Supplies:
  • A white drawing paper (A4 size)
  • Poster colours (Dark blue, brown, black, white, red, pink)
  • Paint brushes of various sizes
  • A water mug
  • Palette(for mixing colours)

Steps:
1. Paint the entire paper with dark blue colour using large brush.

2. Draw the outline for a lake at the base with black colour(use thin brush).

3. Now draw a circle at the top, slightly in the right side. Fill the circle with white colour to make the moon.

4. Now take some Dark blue colour in a palette and add some white paint to it. Apply this around the moon in circular fashion to make the moonlight look like real.

5. Add some more white paint to the paint which you prepared just now. Use this for the reflection of moon in the lake.

6. Draw a tree with its branches using brown paint (use thin paint brush). Give a shading to it using black paint.

7. Now draw the small conical trees around the lake with the help of thin brush in black paint.

8. Now to draw the peach tree blossom, you need to take some red, pink and white colour. Just put the dots of each colour to make it look a real peach blossom. This is how it looks..

I love to be at peacefull places. I feel like being there forever, far way from the noisy environment. When I be at such a place, I don't think of anything else, I just want to get lost there under the moonlight and feel every moment. I want to be in my dreamland. But practically it is not possible for me to get there, so I imagine the scene and bring it out in the form of painting.
